The Encounter -
The Encounter is a unique ministry of HOL-YFC. In
fact, it is unlike anything across the United
States. We combine a Skateboarding Park, Gymnasium,
Auditorium and two Music Venues into one amazing
space. The Encounter is located in downtown Duluth,
MN and is a City Life center.
Reaching over 25,000 youth a year, The Encounter
brings together youth from every possible
background. We seek to build relationships with
young people - especially those in this urban
setting. One of our goals is to encourage these
youth to make good choices and establish a solid
foundation for life. The Encounter seeks to help
these youth become healthy physically, mentally,
spiritually and emotionally.

Baynet -
Baynet (Bay Area Youth Network) is a satellite
chapter of HOL-YFC based in Bayfield, WI. Since May
of 1999, Baynet has served the students of Northern
WI. Under the direction of Joe Mousseau, Baynet
works hard to meet what we consider to be our
students 3 basic needs:
FAITH...HOPE...& LOVE!!!
With these needs nourished, we believe students will have a
platform from which to make better life choices and
stay away from "at risk" activities.

Ransomed -
HOL-YFC leads a weekly small group at the Arrowhead
Juvenile Center (AJC). This is the main detention
facility for northeastern Minnesota. Providing
correctional services for Carlton, Cook,
Koochiching, Lake and St. Louis counties and housing
up to 48 male and female juveniles.
Each week is unique and we never know exactly where their
questions will take us, but by trusting and
following the leading of the Holy Spirit, most of
these young people who come to AJC without hope,
through Ransomed, leave with the seeds of truth
planted firmly in their hearts.
